About Foodoogle

Foodoogle is an AI-powered food scanner. Point your phone camera at the barcode or ingredient label of any grocery product and Foodoogle reads the full ingredient list, explains every additive, flags the allergens that matter to you, and turns all of it into one simple health score you can understand at a glance. It then suggests better alternatives on the same shelf, so a scan ends with a decision instead of a wall of chemistry.

Foodoogle is built for everyday shoppers, not nutritionists. It is for parents checking what is really in a cereal box, for people managing food allergies or intolerances, for anyone following a low-sugar, low-sodium or high-protein diet, and for anyone who has ever stood in an aisle holding two nearly identical packages and wondering which one is actually better. If you shop for a household, Foodoogle is for you.

Foodoogle is built by a small independent product team of engineers and designers who believe ingredient labels should be readable by everyone. We are not funded by food manufacturers and we do not sell placement in our recommendations, so a product's score reflects its label, not its marketing budget. The app is currently in private beta while we finish the scanner, the ingredient database and the alternative recommendations.
